The automatic web splicer is engineered for increased productivity and simplified operation. It reliably joins together webs of two rolls without stopping the sheeter. Using the menu driven controls, the splice initiation can be automatically set to a preset roll diameter or a lineal footage. Optical splicing allows the operator to splice the web as the tail leaves the core, eliminating end-of-the-roll waste.
